Facelift / Necklift
Conveniently located to serve Baltimore and Towson.
A facelift/necklift rejuvenates the face and neck by reducing sagging skin, lifting and tightening weakened muscles of the face and neck.
Why Do People Get Facelifts/Necklifts?
The natural aging process causes loss of elasticity of the skin. As we are exposed to the sun and pollutants, deeper wrinkles start to form. The effects of gravity cause underlying facial muscles in the cheeks and neck to become loose. Skin folds appear on the cheeks, and fatty tissue can appear around the neck and jowls, causing the jawline to lose its definition.
Weakened platysma muscles of the neck separate and form a “turkey wattle.” We accumulate sagging and wrinkled skin on our necks. We may also be struggling with the appearance of an unwanted double chin. A facelift (rhytidectomy) and neck lift performed in our Baltimore plastic surgery facility can reduce these signs of aging.Learn More
What Can a Facelift/Necklift Do?
A facelift/neck lift can rejuvenate the face and neck by reducing sagging skin, lifting and tightening weakened muscles of the face and neck, and removing excess fat underneath the skin, which smoothens out and improves wrinkles. This combination procedure can reduce the look of jowls and can address persistent muscle banding in the neck.

Dr Sultan is truly a talented and very kind physician. The results he creates are natural. He takes the time to listen and understand your concerns. I had a saggy neck issue that had been bothering me for years and Dr Sultan fixed it, did a great job without that “oh so obvious ” stretched out look that I have seen numerous times. His talent is amazing.
Dr Sultan is always reachable with any staff.
Dr Sultan has also removed several annoying facial moles for me. Great job, no scars!
I would , (and have) recommend Dr Sultan to anyone wanting natural looking results.
His fees are definitely worth it, he produces great results!!
Dr. Sultan is also a very nice and caring person as is his staff .
The only way to learn if you are the right candidate for a facelift/necklift is to have a thorough discussion with Dr. Sultan during a consultation. Dr. Sultan will go over the facelift and neck lift in greater detail, including information regarding the recovery process.
Dr. Sultan will ask you questions about your complete medical history, including any medications you are taking and any allergies you have. He will also discuss your expectations for the procedure with you.
Dr. Sultan will perform a physical examination and may take pictures of your neck to study your features in detail. If he believes that you are a good candidate for surgery after this, he will provide you with instructions on how to prepare for the procedure and date will be set.
Featured Before & After
A rhytidectomy paired with a neck lift surgery may be performed on an outpatient basis. It can take up to several hours to complete. First, anesthesia is administered in order to ensure the patient comfort for the duration of surgery.
Small incisions will be made around your ears and might also be made under your chin; this gives Dr. Sultan access to the underlying tissues.
How Much Does a Facelift Cost?
The cost of a facelift varies from patient to patient depending on the unique needs of each individual. Factors we take into consideration are the current degree of sagging skin, the corrections you’d like to make, and the overall complexity required to achieve the desired results. Dr. Sultan will develop a fully customized surgical procedure and discuss the associated cost during your consultation.
