The Brow Lift Procedure

You will go home with your forehead loosely wrapped to reduce swelling. A drainage tube might be placed to drain excess fluid or blood. You must keep your head elevated and take pain medications to minimize discomfort. It helps to apply a cold compress and to avoid excessive motion or pressure.

Your forehead may feel slightly numb and itchy during brow lift recovery, but these will disappear over time. Your incisions will only be covered for up to three days, and your sutures will be in place for around 10 days before being removed. The swelling may take weeks to go away.
